Meet Katy

In the span of three years from 2006-2009, I became a new mother to two children and had open heart surgery with a double-valve replacement. From putting myself on the back-burner, I spiraled down a path filled with anxiety and depression because I didn’t know how to counteract stress. I tried speaking with therapists and taking medication, but nothing helped, and as a result, I suffered in silence for years.

A simple decision to return to yoga in 2014 changed it all. Through yoga, I began to take an active role in my own health. I rediscovered how to lower my stress levels and get calm with my body. By becoming a certified yoga teacher in 2015, I started my journey as a wellness coach and practitioner to help others...
